Maria Rowe
Administrative Assistant
Maria brings over 15 years of experience as an administrative assistant and is dedicated to helping establish seamless operations and communications to our churches. She has a long history of serving in women's, children's, and hospitality ministries. Having partnered with her pastor-husband, Matt, in ministry for many years, Maria deeply embraces the mission and vision of the Global Methodist Church and is committed to helping others live into these core truths. ​

In addition to creative and support services offered at McKendree and Germany Hill Churches, Maria is the Administrative Assistant for the Northeast Annual Conference of the Global Methodist Church.
Alongside her husband, Maria plays piano for Immerse Worship, evening praise and worship sessions for members, as well as for special gatherings for pastors. She loves to cook, host gatherings for family and friends, and learn all things creative. Maria and her husband have six adult children and six grandchildren.
Margaret Maysonet
Organist
Having been a piano teacher for over 50 years, Margaret has brought her musical gifts as on-staff organist to McKendree Church for 20 years, as well as over a decade to Germany Hill Church.

With a life dedicated to serving others, it's no surprise that Margaret has helped dozens of students through the NYSSMA program for piano, was a US Marine since the age of 18, and has served as President of McKendree's Sisters-in-Community women's group - an outreach ministry to provide for the various needs of women throughout Candor and the surrounding communities.
Pastor Matt Rowe
Senior Pastor
Pastor Matt has served as a pastor since 2010 and loves helping people discover a life-changing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. He became a Christian through a youth ministry organization in Vermont as a teenager and has been deeply involved in ministry ever since. He has a deep commitment to the Wesleyan practices of discipleship through small group ministry, one-on-one discipling relationships, and loves to lead people into God’s presence in worship.
Matt graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a
degree in English Literature and earned his Master of Divinity at
United Theological Seminary. He also serves as Presiding Elder for GMC churches in the Tioga County region.
Matt loves fly fishing, camping, worshiping through music,
and movies that stir the soul. He and his wife, Maria, have six
adult children and love the partnership they share in ministry
in the local church.
Ky Spada
Custodian
With his background in building and grounds maintenance at Ithaca College for 24 years, Ky is an invaluable part of our team! His dedication and expertise have not only contributed to the upkeep of our church, but have also enhanced the safety and comfort of our community. He truly makes our facility a welcoming space.
As a fully participating member of McKendree Church, Ky also serves at our Monday night Good News Club for kids, our Safety Team, and meets with his discipleship group weekly.
Originally from Trumansburg, NY, Ky and his wife, Kasey, have lived in Candor for over 12 years.
